While I have been using a bluetooth device for my phone for a few years, it has taken up until a short time ago for me to get a pair of wireless bluetooth earbuds. After a few weeks, I am still not sure if I like them enough to say I am really happy with them. And I guess this in and of itself is a bit telling.

There are more problems than I thought with bluetooth earbuds than I had thought there might be. This was largely due to thinking talking on my phone and listening to music were not that different. For bluetooth, these things really are. Apparently with the increased complexity of music versus a spoken voice, the technology has a hard time transmitting a high fidelity sound. To this is also added a limited range from the earbuds to my mp3 player without the signal dropping out. While I wouldn’t either of these things are so awful I can’t stand it but bluetooth wireless earbuds do present an almost there technology.
