Make a fire pit, get a bunch of wood, set up a lot of camping chairs and invite a bunch of friends. This is my recipe for having a nice party that can be real enjoyable. I am not sure what it is about a having a nice fire to site around but I am certain this is the key ingredient in the whole thing.

Just about everyone seems to be enthralled by a nice fire. It seems to soothe the soul in a way that makes everyone feel a bit closer, and helps everyone settle a little more comfortable into their chairs. I know that when I have a campfire gathering the conversation is always a little nicer than my house parties. I get more compliments the following days too about how nice the party was and how much everyone enjoyed being there.
