Having IRS Trouble?
Posted on September 17th, 2009 No commentsHaving IRS Trouble? The easiest way out is by seeking professional help, go to the Taxpayer Advocate Service. It is an independent group that is part of the IRS that aims to help taxpayers who are having trouble with their taxes.
Each state has at least one tax payer advocate. The service provided ensures that the taxpayer’s problems can be fairly and rapidly handled, and recognizing the tax issues that taxpayers look out for it may further worsen the problem.
You can ask for assistance if you experience the following:
- If more than a month has passed since your tax issue came up;
- You have incurred costly fees for professional representation; and
- You got no reply on your issue date as promised by the IRS.
