2005 Chevy Uplander

The history of Chevrolet’s minivan models has been one of consistently trying to catch up with the other guy, but ultimately falling short. Through three generations and names, the Chevy vans and their various GM siblings struggled to match, let alone better, “mom-mobiles” from Chrysler and import competition. The final variant was the Chevrolet Uplander.

The 2005 Chevy Uplander is Chevrolet’s take on the family van and the SUV.  It has a very spacious interior, fitting 10 people or more, including luggage and other equipment.  Made with an advanced suspension system, the van ensures a smooth ride, even if it is practically loaded.  You won’t feel minor bumps on the road, which is why sleeping through a long trip is very much a possibility.  Its smooth handling, in spite of its size, provides drivers a rather comfortable time at the wheel, even for long trips.  Not surprisingly, it is one of the most popular family vans in circulation.
