The kidneys are chiefly responsible for cleaning the digestive system, making sure that the body is clean and eliminates waste, properly.  Now, if much waste accumulates in the stomach and intestines, numerous ailments can arise, one of them being kidney pains.  Kidney stones and swelling can develop, blocking the passageway for waste.  These can lead to serious complications.  Good thing a lot of treatments are available to deal with kidney pain.

When dealing with kidney stones, the goal is to shrink the mineral-based blockages, until they can pass through the excretory system.  Consuming a diet high on fiber and liquids are pretty effective; however, if the stones are too large, surgery comes as the only option.  As for kidney infection, eating fruits and vegetables and drinking fruit juice are the ideal remedies.
